Flares And Flybys

Sometimes a writer can depict current affairs - such as the issues in the music business - so clearly that when they talk about the absence of the real musician, working on their craft, challenging the musical landscape - I feel like I'm on an deserted island, shooting flares into the sky as the rescue plane flies by. It disappears leaving me doing jumping jacks facing nothing but tail lights.
